There are literally no words to describe this wedding. The whole night continued to leave everyone speechless as one surprise after another left all of stunned with excitement. This wedding meant so much to me and was one of the top 5 experiences in my life. Macall has marked my life as she has discipled, celebrated and loved me the past 6 years. It was the absolute biggest honor to photograph a wedding of someone so dear -that has championed my life so deeply. The biggest love and congrats to these two! I hope you feel, if even just an inkling of the magic that was this wedding.
With joy and love,
Micaela
Ryan & Nadia
I remember the first I was going to meet Nadia around 3 years ago - she was flying in from London and we were roommates for the next year. We we’re setting up our rooms when my roommates and I got a text along the lines saying, “Sorry babes, I won’t be in till later I’m going to In-N-Out with a friend!" She had literally just hopped off the plane and straight to In-N-Out with a dream and a cardigan (lol) to go on a date with Ryan who she had never yet met in person but had been chatting through the FB group. Honestly, we we’re impressed by her and honestly still are to this day. As the rest is history and both these humans are incredible in all the ways. What a flipping joy it’s been to know these two since the beginning. I couldn’t be more excited about their engagement or more grateful that I got the privilege to capture them.
Barrett & Danea
One of my first memories with Barrett was in college when I almost died from a huge tree suddenly falling on my hammock in the middle of a forrest and barely missing me -haha, true story. We were both counselors at the same camp for the summer, Sky Ranch. Now, years later, crazy enough we’re in the same city in Northern California at a discipleship school and I find myself in a little forrest in the middle of the city, rain sprinkling on me as I grin as wide as humanly possible watching his soon to be fiancé walk to him in the middle of the trees. She was completely undone and stunned as he got on one knee. One of the best moments ever.
Macall & Juan
There are literally no words to describe this wedding. The whole night continued to leave everyone speechless as one surprise after another left all of stunned with excitement. This —was easily one of the top 5 experiences in my life. Macall has marked my life in the ways she has mentored, celebrated and loved me the past 6 years. I couldn’t have been more grateful to capture her big day. Truly, I will never forget this day in Columbia.
Mykenna & Caleb
These guys fell in love within the first couple weeks of freshman year in college. Their friends calling it from day one that they would get married. Four years later and after two incredible years of dating, here they are. Absolutely in love, engaged and hands down the MOST fun. Being back in Waco, where I went to college at Baylor University and being with these new friends was a dream.
Amanda & Everett
I don’t remember the amount of times, friends or family of theirs would come near to me while I was taking photos during the wedding -smiles of adoration on their faces as they watched the bride and groom celebrate their marriage. All of them, would look onward with joy welled up in their eyes, lean near me as if telling me an inside secret and say softly, “They are good people.” Every time I heard someone talk about them, I could palpably feel the pure love and tender pride that emanating from everyone there. This is what's it's all about. Such an honor to experience that so authentically and an ever greater honor to capture it.
Joelle & Noah
These two. There’s nothing like a blue hour session and there’s especially nothing like it with these two humans. These guys are some of the kindest, warmest and genuine human beings that I've had the privilege to meet. To capture them was no different, rich, genuine, warm and kind through and through.
